Wanted: 1983-1984 Supergoose BMX

I know this is not the place to find BMX bikes, but I thought I would at least ask. For over a year now, I have been loooking to replace my childhood bike...a 1983 Looptail Supergoose. They only made this style for 2 years so it is a bit harder to find. I've passed on numerous Mongoose Looptails and older Supergooses, but I can't seem to locate the bike I need.

I plan on building my childhood bike...or as close as I can. I already found my rims; a beautiful set of yellow Z-rims with gold and red spokes. Mmmmmmm...tacky 80's!

If any of you guys happen to have one, or know of one, I would apprecite you letting me know.

I think your lookin for a very sought after vintage bmx when you find one exspect to pay premium for it..if the owner knows what he has
anyhow..I know of a couple but they're not for sale ...I have tried

if you check out our auctions on ebay (look up collegecyclery) you will see we are selling a supergoose frame right now but it is not a loop tail

I do realize the Looptail Supergoose is a bit harder to find, but like I said, it was my childhood bike. I really want to build one for old times sake, you know. It figures though, back in the day, the Supergoose/Mongoose was the "cheapest" nice bike. If I had more money back then, I would have bought a Redline, a PK ripper, Skyway, or something else. Any one of those bikes I could have found by now. I just missed one on eBay a few months ago and that sucked. I know of one guy who had a near NOS frame, but it was so far out of my price range it was silly.

Karfer, yeah I saw your auctuion. If you come across a Looptail, I would love it if you sold it to me.

I have an 84 Mongoose looptail frame I will sell.
It has a 16 3/4 inch top tube.
The Chrome is fair, and would clean up well with a soak in Viniger, or Citric Acid.
The Chrome in all the tight spots ALWAYS cleans up well.

Their is a small little ding, about the size of a piece of rice, center/backside of seat tube.
Drop-outs are decent.
no flaring on BB shell, or headtube.

also..the decals for this are available evry day, through BMXProducts on Ebay.
they are the best Mongoose decals out there, and they are cheap, at about 50.oo a set.
