Well I know this might sound crazy..but

So I know everyone has had a look at my crazy schwinn B6 phantom build.
So I was thinking and I live in a little part of Asheville nc, know as West Asheville.Nice place to start a family.My wife and I have a large group of friends that ride all over on bikes,<most I have built>.
We have a radio station called WNCW 88.7 and It is the best,,,check it out online.
Also we all go to a lot of blue grass festivals. So what im getting at is I am going to put a am/fm shower radio inside my tank..Easy to take apart and put it inside the tank, drill a few small holes, and put the knobs back on,,,and there you have a radio tank..also going to put a little Sound Insulation paper on the inside so it wont sound like a tin can.
I will keep everyone posted and even thinking about making a how to video.

so I have a radio kinda like this one,I do not need the am/fm switch so All I will need to it put one small hole in the tank..and I have two old knobs off a old fender amp to put back on,as well as the speaker will be close to the little vents in the front of the tank.

theres a really cool new invention called the m p three player. its like a tiny radio station in a box.

just razzin, tunes are cool for any ride.

i used a promotional ashtray, speaker, a couple salsa lids and fasioned a small 9volt amp to power the speaker for my mp3 player. built for those group rides also

hey brian u should check out http://WWW.WWHP.COM its a local radio station here in illinois ..and they play killer tunes ..bluegrass, rebel country, alt country,folk ..and just great music !!! i love almost everything they play ...lots of great concerts up here come off that station ..anyway check it out and let me know if ya dig it ...and pass the word !!! do u listen to any OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW ? thats great music there ,if not check that out !!anyway just sayin,,, mike !!

When I was a kid I had a handlebar mounted headlight/horn/am radio which was pretty cool. You might want an external antenna, as mounting it inside a metal box might reduce its reception.

ya I got that worked out as well..
I thought about using a mp3 player but I dont want anything sticking out...I like the look of it all inside.
I am going to run a little wire on the out side out of the way for a better antenna.
