Found a couple old bikes on Craigslist, ended up with a couple more that will pay for the vintage ones:
26" Foremost, likely a Murray bike. Nice run of the mill canti frame:
Interesting Austrian JC Higgins 24" womens. Interesting parts on this one, early "quick release" wheels, seat is somewhat baked, but has nice frame underneath:
Perhaps the gem in this lot, a decent shape Diamondback Wildwood ladies bike. Should be able to flip this one to pay for the whole lot:
As I was loading up, guy asks if I would be interested in a 20 incher "for free". I believe I would! Needs some leaves removed from the wheels, but should clean up ok. NEXT bike, but it has an ORYG rotator, laid-back post, decent tires...and a water-filled seat: :?
With the "free" one factored in, I'm in for about $25 on each bike, but I'm fairly certain I can get a quick C-note for the Diamondback. It's not that old and was $250 new, so comparing it to the currently available model is a plus.
