this did remind me of a shelby i had, but why the western flyer headbadge?

"Western Flyer" was the brand name used by the Western Tire and Auto Supply retail marketing chain. Western Flyer was not a manufacturer of bicycles. Bicycles badged as "Western Flyers" were manufactured by Cleveland Welding, Huffman, Murray, Shelby and possibly others. I believe this one was manufactured by Shelby.
