That's waht these bars are called? "El Toro"?
This is actually the nickname my friends gave me more than 20 years ago, hence Toro1978. El Toro Magnifico being the full version, but they just say Toro.

Cool Mr. Magnifico! I just nicknamed the bars that cuz the looked like bull horns

Also, this shot is wicked, very very racy! Just by looking at it I could feel the airstream:

Spent the morning getting the drivetrain ready so that I could actually ride this baby.

I decided to go with a dogleg crank that I believe may have come from the Firestone Super Cruiser that donated a lot of parts to Rockafella.

I am using the mag sprocket that I cannot remember how I got.

Last October I won the costume contest as Ricky Bobby on Holeshot during the Moonlight Garden Ride.

Since I got a $50 gift certificate from Quality Bike Shop it made it worth looking like a fool (but having fun). Shake N Bake!!!!!!

This is what I got with the gift certificate. This KMC Kool Knight half link armored chain. Most of it will be hidden by the guard and skirts, but if you got cool stuff,,,,,,,,USE IT!!!

This chain has a cool one time use long push pin to join the chain links. You push it in with a chainbreak tool and then you break off the excess on the back end after it is pushed all the way through.

Here is a great pic of it from my ride. You can also see the dogleg, mag sprocket, and pedals here.

I found the Trygg vintage butterfly that I got from @kirkpatrick (thanks to a headup from @Dr. Tankenstein ) and replaced the modern one I had been using. This thing was awesome on the ride. It is the perfect height! I don't have any close ups of it, but you'll see it on the ride photos I'll post up. It also tucks back neater than the modern one does.

Speaking of rides, I had a blast getting out and about on Western Sizzler. The riding position was comfortable. Gear ratio was just right for decent speed at times. TONS of "cool bike" hollas. Had a few people take pics of it as I was taking pics. Always fun talking with people about this cool creations.

Everything was solid about this bike, but I do still need to tweak and finish the sissy bar. It stayed in place well with the temporary wooden shims I am using. It will be secured with a combo of shims and set screws where it exits the frame, but I quickly realized that I need to deaden the ends that are shoved 15" into the mid tubes. Every bump I hit, the cantilever action of the sissy bar would rattle inside of the mid tubes.

Any way, enough about that here are the pics of the maiden voyage Sizzler cruise in Savannah. (pic heavy as usual, because I also use these to help determine what angles and locations work best for this build)
