When I have a lot of busy sanding to do, and I’m tired of youtube news and talk.

Especially if I’m gonna be in and out of the shop, I don’t have to be there to hear the whole thing because it repeats. Many times.

My brother, who used to be a ham radio operator, told me about this application that lets you stream radio stations from all around the world, called Radio Garden. Just click on any of the green dots that represent radio stations and you can hear what they are broadcasting.

Come visit me in Chicago where the Rock History Station originates: http://radio.garden/visit/chicago-il/D1wk1w5c

I love mountain music. How about this station from Nepal: http://radio.garden/visit/melamchi/HiMDR-i6

It's fun to zoom out, spin the globe and find some exotic spot, then see what the locals listen to. Once you find an interesting place, zoom way in to see what the local landscape looks like.

There is Carlos on the back with a scimitar, flying on Pegasus the winged horse. I saw him wail on the Fender Stratoblaster, at a house party in Fresno once, back in 1976.
