I have a fond memory of me and my best buddy partying with Foghat behind Sundance
sometime in the late 80's. Drummer, Roger Earl, is/was the only original member and he
still lives in Mount Sinai on Long Island. A random hippie style throwback buddy of mine
that would show up out of nowhere for things like this had a baseball bat sized joint. And
I remember that while the bass player was happy to smoke to bring down his coca cola
speeding high with the baseball bat, Roger was in the back of a minivan with a 30 something
super groupie fan. That was a night to remember. No phone cameras or recordings. Just me
and my buddy talking about it for years after.
When I was Stone Blue, rock and roll sure helped me through.
