The wheels going on it are done, now just waiting on new brake shoes before installing them.
Man, its 8c down south in MelbourneWinter here in Brisbane now - temps have plummeted to 21c/70f.
Just right for what I built this bike for - a 'Jungle' run with the dawg.

Sweet bike!Stunning Autumn day in Melbourne for a ride along the Yarra River trail on the Red Menace. I recently fitted a pair of S&M Speedball tires and I must say they are incredible. 110psi rated! I pumped them to 85psi and they still ride great but the bike rolls so much faster. There's also little flex when you're standing on it.
The first 3 photos are of the Melbourne Docklands precinct. A bit over 20 years ago when I moved nearby, none of this existed. The area housed disused customs sheds (like the one in the third photo) and paved bluestone rides. I wish it was still like that, but some would call it progress.
In the last photo you can see the heritage listed vinegar girl sign in the background.

If you can’t use the smaller ring in front I’d look for a bigger cog.Took this for a quick spin after airing the tires. About two maybe three minutes and your legs are done. It's a workout for sure. Can you see why?View attachment 161245
GC.
That’s a cool frame.I have been giving this single a lot of uphill riding. Geared pretty low, but great cardio. View attachment 161297
It is. I’m not sure of manufacturer. But it took the big balloons with no issues. It’s a bit tall for me, but a great ride. I found another locally complete. May have to snag it.That’s a cool frame.
