22 km = 13.6702 miles
13+ miles on a singlespeed cruiser, nice. The average American would fall over dead during a ride like that.
Strange how the area I live in fronts so hard on being green, yet the majority of the "proponents" of that faux-movement are the aforementioned average American. They turn a key to go anywhere or do just about anything.
Ride on, my Canadian friend.
Cool. Details on that steed?I have been riding this a lot lately. Fairly lightweight frame, but with 12g wheels it's a great trail bike.View attachment 158329View attachment 158330
It's an old Huffy mtb frame I converted to a single speed. Its got wide 28" handlebars and a seat from a gt BMX bike (I think). CMC rims with a Bendix coaster plus a diacompe bulldog caliper brake for extra stopping power.Cool. Details on that steed?
Those are sweet!Kickin the Chicken pedals a bit yesterday. I have been invited to a gravel event, so it needs some mileage and a couple of mods. The Lotus was made for a friend a few years ago.
Leaned out on an old tanker = WIN every time
Thank you. The Lotus is ridiculously light, sub-20# and she was unable to ride it for a while after being injured by a hit and run driver (she was in a motor vehicle when hit). The step-through Greenbriar I built up for her recovery will probably not see much action anymore, unless there is a threat of rain. Those are sweet!
