24-inch BMX-ish cruiser. I've been wanting to build something like this for a while.

My daughter pedaled along on her '76 Collegiate.

For this bike, I had a friend with an angle grinder help me modify one of those cheapo wrenches that you get free in the box when you by furniture or a treadmill or whatever that requires 15mm fasteners for setup. I was inspired by this and this.

My daughter totally called me out on it. She said I was trying too hard, that I don't drink beer often enough to need that and I'll never use it. She's probably right, but still. Kids are ingrates.

One of my bikes that I’ve been riding lately. I think it was a “Chief” model of some brand. I rattle can sprayed it, added an accessory bar for my rechargeable LED and R-A-M base to attach various electronic devices. It has an inadequate bell, a button sized red tail light LED. Also has a pump and wrench strapped to the rear stay. I added a front brake that adds at least another 10% stopping power There’s also a handlebar mounted beverage holder.
It is my urban stealth tactical vehicle.

Beautiful Autumn day yesterday for a shakedown ride on the BIG STYLE 29. A friend laced a new set of rims with a cool SE front hub and a mint nexus 4 I pulled from a parts bike. I used a nexus 7 shifter instead of the grip shifter. The nexus 7 shifter works perfectly as the cable pull is the same between the 2 hubs. I used a 33t front sprocket and 21t rear as the 4 speed hub has a direct 1st gear and three overdrive gears.
