Was supposed to be a quick spin to the shop, but it spun out into something longer. This bike just urges me to go further

I dug this out and put some miles on it last couple of days. We have had a wonderful streak of sun and warm 60's F here in North East Wisconsin! This is a Centrix (same as Jamis Earth Cruiser) that I inherited my Late Brother. I have begun modding it to fit me better.

We finally are getting some decent spring weather so today I jumped on the Kos and went for a ride around town. I was passing by a go kart track and went in for a look. Man were these things fast, not like the rental karts we drove years ago.

Those carts look like a hoot! We do the indoor cart thing once every couple years, and they aren't as fast as the ones you saw, but I still end up with bruises all over from the Gs ... super fun.

Those carts look like a hoot! We do the indoor cart thing once every couple years, and they aren't as fast as the ones you saw, but I still end up with bruises all over from the Gs ... super fun.

I haven’t been in a kart in over 20 years. I did it with my car racing mates regularly and remember the aches and bruises well. There were a couple of outdoor tracks too which were the most fun, especially the one with karts with 2 stroke engines.

Rode the Speedliner yesterday before the weather turned nasty with thunder, lightning and torrential rain. I got back just in time.

Very thankful for great weather around 70° today & chance to get out on my new Elgin for a couple of hours after exercising my Rights. What a fun bike!

Yes, it is a Windwood with thousands of miles
