A snowy Friday cleared out for lovely weather yesterday foe Longmont Lights Parade! As usual, a good group of folks from Bike Night attended.🎅🤶🎄

I strapped some lights found earlier in the day to my Elgin & had a blast as usual! A great way to get into the spirit. Or have some spirits.....🤓We had a fun gathering afterward as well.A fun night with friends & machines!

Rode my latest find shortly after bringing it home yesterday. I tested it out after airing up the tires, only to find that the crank kept hitting the kickstand, and the seat was every bit as comfortable as it looked.

Swapped out the seat and kickstand, and it was much better. It definitely needs a tune-up, but it's a lot more functional than most of my projects start out.

I've been taking a different one of these out each day. Still no snow in northern Iowa so I figured I'd give each a last day of riding before they go in the shed until spring. Got a few others I haven't ridden yet but will over the next few days.

Just finished my current favorite 57 Corvette I replaced the wheels, tires seat, seat post and clamp put the original crank and sprocket back on it, had to flip the sprocket around to keep the new chain from coming off when I shift into 5th or 6th gear. So I took it for a quick ride to work and back.

Got this crazy trike going I was given. I laugh out loud riding it. Have I entered geezerdom?

Love it, I got one last year in a trade. It's a bit older and I'm still hunting down parts. But it'll be a fun ride when it's done. This was the last mock-up a couple months ago.

That is awesome! I'm planning on bigger rear wheels as well. Mine were skinny 24", I picked up a pair of 72 spoke 24"x4" rims but I think I want to go taller as well.
Nice! Since these 24"x3" Fatty O's are still nice, I'd like to upgrade to fatter rims. Have some wide 26" hoops.....🤔🤔🤷‍♂️ Planning a Girvin fork swap since @Palepainter hooked me up with some elastomers & some kind of ape hanger for more upright position. Current setup is great for straightline riding & bombing hills in a tuck. Like a freight train on rails. Any thought of turning it turns into a bareback bronco and tries it's best to throw you!!!🤣🤣🤣
More danger=More fun

I know, I rode it a few times with the stock wheels and even at lower speeds it felt like it would tip over. I think they made that narrow to fit through a standard house door, but I don't bring my bikes in the house so wider it is. I had been thinking about making it electric, but I changed my mind. I am however going to make it multi speed rather than the stock 3 speed. Lots of small hills around here. And even more gravel.
