Wasn't riding it, but I got to stand over it, and did some serious imagining about what riding it will be like...
What a coincidence, I saw a red rampage when I was at the supermarket yesterday, never heard of rampage, it had low BMX bars on it with carriers for top grocery getting, could be an idea for this one

Very wet here lately so I've had the re-worked (BMX-ed) '02 Kona out and about.
I always forget how nice this thing is to ride with all the upgrades - until I throw a leg over again.

It was -14° when I got my Felt Bandit loaded up for this month's Old Bikes Club ride. I typically ride my 1919 Arch Frame Mead Ranger in January since my Birthday is the 19th but my Felt is my favorite to ride in snow. It was about 0° when we started riding.

We made a quick stop for a break & the sun melted the snow from one side of my tire that created an icicle. Yep, it's cold!

It was too cold for ice cream but we stopped at Rocket Fizz for candy on the way back. I discovered a new fave!🤓

Gonna need a bigger bag .......

Lovely Australia Day here in Brisbane. Sunny and 30c/86f and the first 'big' ride on Credence - down to the Manly craft markets and the dog treats stall on a Sunday as usual.

Followed by a nice pedal around the Bayside. Around 25km all up.

Plenty of people having BBQs and relaxing on the national day.

I just enjoyed the pedal. The BMX cruiser is ideal along the shared paths.

And an interesting cruise around the huge boat harbour.

It's a beauty. So feel-good and nice to ride.

With all the cold temperatures & snow lately, one would think it's winter or something.🤷‍♂️ I found a great way to stay/get in shape at the pump track is wait for it to snow. Then grab a shovel & boom box to push all the snow off the track so the Sun can do it's thing.🌞

I was down to my t-shirt for most of the 3 hours it took & clouds were moving in as I was finishing. Whatever didn't dry after I left should be dry by noon today so everyone can get back to having fun ASAP!!

I thought I'd be too sore/stiff after 3 hours of clearing the track to ride yesterday but felt much better than expected. Nice of a friend to hit me up about the time a window of opportunity to squeeze in a recovery ride opened! :113:

I got a cool shadow pic of my friend.

The Sun had done it's job & everything was dry by noon for a fun day at the track. Just what I needed to get my circulation up & work out the stiffness.🤓
