ahh,hah...Thanks Larry! I thought it might be a continental but wasnt sure. What year is yours?

Nifty lightweight !

Schwinn spent alot of money on ad campaigns on those bikes back in the day. I have seen ads with the Hollywood heavy-weights of the day doting on their Schwinn lightweigts. Bing Crosby, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacal, to name just a few. The one that sticks out in my mind the most went a little something like this, " Next to you Trigger, I like to ride my Schwinn best" Roy Rogers with a back drop of the Superstition mountains, wich happen to be practically in my own backyard. Later & PEACE!!!!

wow what a find. although i think you guys are sorta wrong on what it is. yes it is a schwinn but i do not think it is a continental. i think because of the 3 peice crank and having more chrome it is a super rare paramount. not sure of what model that would be for all i know it would still be called a continental as they carried some of the names over but with it having those cranks it is deff a paramount. a devision of schwinn and much more rare.
