Your serial # dates to 1952. The American Monark-Silver King Co. was bought by Huffy in 1957. The Monark name was used into the 60s, but were just rebadged Huffys. -Adam

Nice find Schwinn Boy, I like it. If it were mine I would clean it, make it road worthy, and ride it. The tank looks like it is from another bike to me but I know nothing about bike tanks. My guess is just based on the inside and outside colors compared to the bike.

If it were me, Id pucker up for 100-125.. I also second the motion about the tank being unoriginal..but a really good fit. Hard to say though, in any case.. nice bike running.
