I've got the Columbia serial number list if you want it looked up.
I'll have to dig it out and get the numbers off of it. Right now it is buried in behind 25-30 other bikes.

Maybe I’ll post some detail shots later & for me it is mostly Frankenbikes (!) but here’s the current bike situation.

My Trek framed aluminum bike (the AL-U-Mini) is not operational quite yet. It still needs structural work. Also nobody could possibly ride with the Seat that low.

From left to right you see my wife’s red Taiwan Nishiki, my sister’s purple Walmart Roadmaster, The AL-U-Mini, The Huffy Leftover Bits Bike, The black Manhattan “Green” Canal rescue bike, my daily rider: the Lengthy Insanity custom Mongoose, Flyaway, the Western Auto Wayfarer Flyer, the fake Schwinn framed Sting Gray, and Baggins the Kawasaki Nomad 1500.

Here’s an aerial view of the current stable.

@oldcars

Being a Scout owner, I am quite impressed by the Scout alone.
I think I’ve seen your taildragger at Reno but it was a long time ago. I don’t know how you keep the spokes clean on all of those bikes. I can hardly keep up with the daily drivers anymore.

My father and I did a frame off on our Scout in 1973, but it needs another one now. We owned three different Scouts and I grew up in one.
