Where did this hub come from?

Anyone know where and when this hub came from? Any thoughts on value?

Wow. I think that's maybe from the teens or 20's, but I don't really know. Never seen that model before, looks like may be a 2-speed? :?

Model A drum brake model? Super cool, for sure. I would love to have it, but I know it is out of my reach.

Cameron, this looks different from my Model "A" hubs, you mentioned "Drum Brake"?

I think this hub is older than the "Model A" and is a version of the Corbin Duplex by New Departure (still guessing).
