This is the gist of the build. Sturmey Archer drum brake hubs with a skip tooth adapter sprocket, quadrant shifter, unknown but cool cranks, B72. I have rims to go with the hubs. 32 hole rims are easy to come by but 40 holes are not so much. But I have both now. I’ll need to measure and order spokes. And figure out the rest of the build.

I’ve had this frame set for a few years now and have been looking forward to this build. It is my favorite vintage frame. Western Flyer badged Shelby with a Shock-Eze fork. I love the original paint. I’ll just clean it up a bit with WD40 and 0000 steel wool. It’s gonna be, like, radical Dude!! 🤙

The wear marks clearly show that this bike originally had a 'No Nose' tank!

Here's the same tank on my bike 'Abner'.

I wondered if this bike may have originally been a no-nose variant but had somehow convinced myself it probably hadn't. Now I'm going to have to save up for one of your tanks. Maybe have you do some patina magic on it too. What fenders do you think this might have had originally? Too cool! :113:

It's hard to say on the fenders. The chainguard and rack would provide more clues if it had them when you got it.
Too hard to say, I just got the frame and forks. I bought them from JAF/CO, he might know. I like the fenders with the curvy braces.

I just checked your catalog, are you not making the no-nose tanks? I would think originals would be very expensive if one could even be found.
