That wishbone frame is just too cool, and the paint and patina on yours is perfect! Whether you build it up as a bare-bones klunker or as a factory tank bike, that's going to be one sweet ride! Can't wait to see how you build it!

Yeah, 4k for a complete-ish project.
I may go single speed on this in the interests of actually getting it done. And I think I will redo it with tank and fenders in the future. Need the time and $$ to gather parts for that version.

I have a wishbone. It’s my favorite klunker. Three speed coaster. Nice and long and rides well on single track. I want to strip it, paint it blue and put my blue Anaya rims on it. Here is hopefully some inspiration for you.This is the gist of the build. Sturmey Archer drum brake hubs with a skip tooth adapter sprocket, quadrant shifter, unknown but cool cranks, B72. I have rims to go with the hubs. 32 hole rims are easy to come by but 40 holes are not so much. But I have both now. I’ll need to measure and order spokes. And figure out the rest of the build.

I’ve had this frame set for a few years now and have been looking forward to this build. It is my favorite vintage frame. Western Flyer badged Shelby with a Shock-Eze fork. I love the original paint. I’ll just clean it up a bit with WD40 and 0000 steel wool. It’s gonna be, like, radical Dude!!
Inspirational indeed, that's a very stylish klunker! I think version 1 on mine is going to be a single speed coaster. After I get a little further along on my skinny build I'll get to work on this one. Thanks for sharing!
