The back fender was so bad, I considered replacing it. Now it's actually presentable. Not too bad for a beginner if I do say so myself!
I'm going to try to work this beast of a reflector into the built.

I may not be getting bored anytime soon. I felt confident enough to tackle both of my Colson chain guards today and still have about several sets of fenders to go through.
I didn't get much done on Worm Drink this week. I got the hubs rebuilt and the wheels trued.

That's the way we ratters roll, right?
Not much progress but I did manage to turn some bushings and spacers to help mate up the Schwinn drop stand to the Ross fork.

Those spokes look huge and like they could support a giant. How much for the spokes? Where did you find those? I have been thinking about this for a future build. I am trying my first attempt at re-spoking a rim this next weekend for a disc brake set up.

I got them from Memory Lane Classics, they're the stainless steel ones. I think they were about a buck apiece.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. I'm really digging the fat spokes too. It gives the bike a real work horse look.

The drop stand works prefect now. Swings easy with very little side to side or up and down play. I'm pretty stoked about that One or two more pieces to fab and then it's on to paint!

Polished up the chain ring and cranks. Not bad considering the crank was golden brown!
