The wife and i hit a few yard sales Saturday and i snagged this pretty decent Free Spirit 3 speed for 10 bucks. All i did was put some air in the front tire and gave it alittle cleaning. Rode great other than a frozen rear brake cable.

Someone had turned the stem backwards ??????????? I turned it back around properly and put the bike on CL and sold for 20 bucks that evening.

Not a big profit but it paid for our gas.

I have the identical men's version, got it for free. Not bad for a dept store rider.

I sold the same 3 speed mens bike, on blue color, for 90.
You can make 70...90 USD easy on these 3 speed bikes, here in Ohio.

This thread is, like, Deja Vu.....

Last summer I bought that same bike, back wards stem to bring the bar in closer to the rider as well...

Very weird...

Did the factory do that, that way????
