im of the opinion that the fork is not original to the frame. the forks look schwinn to me. and they made that type fork for years and years and i haven't seen or heard of a number/ serial code for the. forks.

awesome! i ride a yuba mundo first generation. 3 tons of mild steel and six speeds, slow through extra super slow. but i use it every day and have carried three antique bikes partially assembled/disassembled over the williamsburg bridge into my hometown of NYC. love to see pics of it together!

i agree. also, monark had a data plaque riveted to the underside of the BB with serial/model. so if someone took that off then no numbers. check for the two little holes underneath should be left to right.

that dewalt case actually HAS the saw in it! that bike is my S.U.B. i ride it in NYC to work everyday, rain or shine, sleet or snow. am a scenic carpenter/prop stylist/set builder. for photoshoots, so my payload changes from job to job. prop bikes one day, circ saw and screwgun the next...

i rock an army surplus bag nestled in the rack just below and at the back of my seat. its perfect for my PBR tallboy. i really should get better pics of it. sometimes i add bags, chrome, dewalt, ikea. etc. sometimes i just add an extra bike.
