It's a Vintage 1950's Columbia Banana seat bike, Funny I thought Schwinn started the Banana seat bike craze in 63, guess Columbia did in the 50's. The kickstand is bad but it has good light reflectors, they must be hidden. :lol:

I think it's strange how you see things you never noticed until you look at one. After seeing Outskirtscustoms hauler I've seen a ton of these pop up . This is the forth or fifth one I've seen lately. Not so sure about the 50's reference though! :? :roll:

I sold the women's bike, not through CL though, to a guy who needed a bike, I let him have it for $30.

So I have changed my ad for just the chrome men's bike. I did have 1 person to text me last night, he wanted to buy them both, but lives about 80 miles away, he asked if I would meet him in the middle, I said I would and haven't heard from him since. So that's 1 response from this ad.

You should have never sold it... and I can't probably find a post on here from you talking about how you would be keeping it for a long time.

I could think of a few things to do with that...Chop the nose off of it, paint it like an old Indian motorcycle, add 24x3 front and mongoose beast 26x4 rear, some truss rods on the fork, maybe make a leaf spring fork, taller sissy bar.... :mrgreen:

Mo choppa mo betta.... :wink:

I'd jump on that one! Pretty complete bike, I'd have to hang on to it though. I have a lot of females in this family & they like the cool bikes too!
