Don't tell me you haven't bought those yet. The price is worth the parts even if the frames are junk.

The older ones I have seen have made some decent money.

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

Cool Screamer, but I actually like my rusty one better because I have a blank canvas to work with (and it has the right bars).

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

wow, i think you could set some kind of land speed record with a ring that big....

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

Alright, check out this ad: http://eastnc.craigslist.org/bik/3751214211.html

The main focus is on the Leopard print, and in the description they cleverly put the words close together to say "Select series leopard print schwinn" making it sound like the leopard print is the "select series" but that refers to the bike, so look closely at the leopard print... it's cut up pieces of black duct tape!!!

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

This posting got my eye earlier as I have made similuar postings, only mine were looking out for people's safety I thought. This is the oppisite view, more like Dad's point of view; http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/bik/3756056347.html

Guy has a point, if you don't like the price, think the person is stupid for destroying the frames integrity, or don't agree with the ad move on, find something else! Let people be people.

I was out of town last week, but picked up the 3 bamboo bikes this morning for a bargain.

Asking price is negotiable, delivery available. :D

We could get $150 to $200 for that in Savannah. If you want to bring it down, I can sell it for you and forward the money back to you.
