Re: Project Krate-Ray UPDATE 12/19 Milk Krate

I just love it, you have some bikes that are built for pure speed with no brakes at all and now you will have this bike, clearly not a high speed machine with better brakes than a small sedan.

The caliper looks a little loose on the seat stay, but I REALLY like how your cable looks running along the frame. :D
Your bike is just so clean looking. Can't wait to see the full shot.

Did your hub come with the stopper thing that bolts onto the fork?

If you don't have it, try hyper-formance.com
Yeah, I'd like to make some kind of clamp for the rear caliper in the future, I don't like the slop it has between the little rubber stops. For the front stop I'll just use an allen head bolt in the forks.

Nice Job!

That caliper looks like it grew there.Looks perfect.

The allen bolt is probably just as good, but I found it at hyper-formance.com. It is $8. and is called a stopper bolt.If you can't get short enough spokes for your front wheel and hub locally he's got those too.

Just got her done, finished pics tomorrow night in the gallery section.
