I think any paint detail on the grooves will wear off pretty quickly. Perhaps you could replace the outside lock ring and bar end plug with red?

Maybe. Some good enamel might hold up fairly well though. Like stripers enamel is pretty stout stuff

Not surprised how deep I was into Page 2. I've been slacking on my build because of turnovers on rentals. The current market allowed me to raise my rents by over 12% for the new tenants though. Time to roll HEXtreme back out and have fun.

Next I had to make a decision on pedals. So much of this build is thanks to BBRPD and Lawless bicycles. There are parts that I won on BBRPD, but I also sold enough Lawless stuff on BBRPD that I was able to keep a crazy amount of these killer billet parts for free.

So, my pedal choices are "Big Dog", "Mad Dog", or "Riot" Lawless pedals.

I think the left set has the right amount of beef and also the angled slots accent the sprocket nicely


Now.........about the middle set. Let's talk

The "Big Dog" pedals live up to their name! These things are freaking huge. I think these are a bit over the top big for this build.

The "Mad Dog" set in the middle are cool and unusual, but they may be a bit too streamlined and small for HEXtreme.

I am leaning more towards the "Riot" pedals on the far right. Not only does the scale feel right, but the machined slots seem to best match the Tortuga triple tree slots.

I had to pull the bike in from the rain and slipped on some iron cross valve caps and the billet fork tube caps.
