While I don't much like the 1 step back for 2 steps forward, I doooo love the little sparks of inspiration that come along the way.

I've had this large glass sphere for years. I am thinking of mounting this underneath the steertube and possibly lighting it up with an LED.

I'm not amused, but he thinks it's hysterical.
You'd think he'd be a little more nervous! At first glance, I thought you were combining beer with hacksaw... That's living dangerously!

That idea is so cool. If you could hide the electrics in the head tube, it'd just glow under there

That's the hope 🤞💡

What a freaking fantastic idea! 😎 I hope you can make it happen.

Let's give it a whirl...

Only seen if looking from directly below (if I run you over, you'll 'see the light' lol), so I will have to make a reflector of sorts to make it fully illuminate.

However, we've got...

Didn't have much time today, but I got the crank assembly together...and it's a thing of beauty.

Put the crank arm from a 26" ladies bike on it which gives better leverage. Also the longer arms aren't so long that they'll scrape 🤞 (we'll confirm with a test ride).

Half link looks awesome

@BobbyStillz , looking forward to your episode of Imelda Bar-cos !! Do you have a closet full?

I have a cache of 'investments'. 🤣

(I see your Imelda Marcos reference, double it, and add a META-phor of my own.) 😉

Ok, it all stems from here 😉 I think I can go either way depending on where the bars sit (height wise). The Collegiate neck lowers the bars about a couple inches, and kicks them forward about an inch, so we'll see (I don't want to hunch).

Right now, these are the options:
-Papa bear
-Mama bear
-Baby bear
...and Goldilocks
But which one will be, "just right"?

Btw, this is my pink panther build right now:
