I wish I had saddles lying around from the the late 1800's :D The leather looks like its in amazing condition...
This saddle is impressive. I wish this was on my build. What a score.
Cool Seat!
Interestingly this saddle is off a 1895 Hoffman - an all nickeled plated frame. Honestly, I fell in love with seat and bought the bike just for that saddle! The leather has been replaced, but it's still sweet and too cool!

The simplicity of that seat is beautiful, but it adds so much to the complexity of the bike...NICE!

Well, I'm almost done with all of the fabrications. In a few days I'll start with painting and the patina process.

Before you start painting in a few days, don't forget to take that 'calendar worthy' picture of the raw build stage in the middle of your other build off bikes!

I'm sure I'm not the only one that is looking forward to that.:113:

EDIT: I just started a thread for everyone to post pics of their past and present build-off bikes together HERE in the build-off discussion section. Looking forward to seeing yours!

I've been out of town for almost a week now and Enigma was put on the back burner in my absence. I'm ready to get back to working on the bike! I found this hinge interesting and may incorporate it?

Cool hinge, how about as a fender?

I returned home late last night from a business trip and spent today at two local swap meets...picked up a bunch of doodads, gizmos and trinkets for the build. Today was a good day!
