This saddle is impressive. I wish this was on my build. What a score.
Interestingly this saddle is off a 1895 Hoffman - an all nickeled plated frame. Honestly, I fell in love with seat and bought the bike just for that saddle! The leather has been replaced, but it's still sweet and too cool!Cool Seat!
But it wouldn't have the same flavor of history....the fabricators on this site could duplicate that seat I bet.
Well, I'm almost done with all of the fabrications. In a few days I'll start with painting and the patina process.
Before you start painting in a few days, don't forget to take that 'calendar worthy' picture of the raw build stage in the middle of your other build off bikes!Well, I'm almost done with all of the fabrications. In a few days I'll start with painting and the patina process.
Cool hinge, how about as a fender?
That's exactly what I had in mind!
