Well it doesn't translate entirely in the photos, but this is step one. It does look bronzedish, and I can see it working out as I build layers. I hit it with clear to set what is there, then I will dust it again and sand it back.

Dang it Bobby you beat me to the punch. I picked a full can of bronze powder last summer at a farm sale. I had the same idea of dusting it on a clear finish. You've inspired me to pull it out and use on another project i'm working on. I really like where you are taking this build.

Going to try @Pondo 's idea of running clip on bars from the fork stanchions. I know the underslung apes will work, but I want to try some other looks...

Starting with these baby apes from a Schwinn exerciser.

Apparently, you just have to cut everything in half.

Time for some creative shadow boxing...

The reason I'm doing a chopper (vs any other type of bike) for my Wu Tang build, is the dual tie-in of Method Man and his alias 'Johnny Blaze' AKA 'The Ghost Rider'.

So now, I must decide how I would like to emulate certain details of 'The Ghost Rider' bike without it becoming a 'Ghost Rider' bike.

I am leaning toward orange tires with a black sidewall. However, I found a black tire, with a wide sidewall (in orange) as well.

Its hard to compare these two, picture quality is so different.
Ruff Cycles also has orange wall tires.

I really like the 'orange black walled' tires, never saw them before.

If I choose to go with the first option, they come in 26" and 20" if I want to run different sizes. The second option only comes in 20", so I would probably run a solid black rear.

Also, I have some ideas for this:

Putting out an APB for a 26" single (orange/black marble).
Anyone have a connect, or one for sale?
I can only find them available in pairs online.
