Spent a lot of the weekend cruising around the Bayside on the '82 Sprint. The VW owners had a display on too.
No time to build, too busy riding my bikes on protest rides and keeping track of all the other events happening... September is just too crazy...

As promised here are some more info about and pics from todays protest ride:
The conservative Senat in Berlin just recently cut down almost all funding of bike infrastructure projects:
- bikelanes: only 4,2 km built (our mobility law states that this year 100 km should be built)
- bike fast lanes: 9 of them are planned, 8 are pushed back infinitely, only one will be built
- bike parking houses: 4 of 6 are cancelled
Today we did a "star cruise" so on every branch of the bike fast lanes one of the many initiatives and activist groups organized a protest ride and we all joined at the Siegessäule to continue from there on to the Rotes Rathaus (the city hall) to express our anger.... In the end we were 3000!
Our group The RespectCyclists started way up in the north, that's why I took the S-Bahn to get there (picture of my last post). It was way to hot (36° C) today to cycle up there from the south, where I'm at...

I've been forgetting to post here lately but rode my Kustom Kruiser Roadster for Bike Night with a theme of 'Flannel' along with 84 others last night. Strapped my disco light since it actually gets dark enough to see it with just a couple rides left of the season. (Imagine the light spinning. Like a disco!)
Radar showed we could get wet during the ride but it stayed dry. It was so nice out & Lithium channel on Serius XM had been kickin' out the jams all night, I kept going for a while after the ride ended. Great night for a much needed ride!

My favorite, the RockRat. Fun to ride anywhere and everywhere
Did 21 miles on the neo-Klunk with the wife (on her hybrid). It was a warm one today!
I rode my crusty Collegiate for this months Bluz Cruz. It has been a small "core" group riding lately & had a super chill day hanging out with good friends.
Stopped at Rocket Fizz candy store on the way back. Couldn't resist picking up a small handful of pocket rubber chickens!

My latest build, starting to love it, still changing some things but this bike is my new favorite
Got brand new white tires not too long ago and cleaned them when i got home from work, took the tire off and the tire tool popped my innertube
havent been able to ride it since lol
