    Schwinn... and?

Really not sure but I'd imagine it's missing a cushion and would be some kind of bolt on back rest.

BO15 Pee Wee’s Big Adventure Schwinn DX build!

The springer forks are apart. The two good legs and the good neck will be bead blasted, primed and painted red. Like Frankenstein’s monster a stronger fork will be made from the pieces of these two dead ones.

BO15 Pee Wee’s Big Adventure Schwinn DX build!

It’s always easier to buy than build! But I do agree with you, if I can find a set that don’t blow my budget I’ll be all over them.

BO15 Pee Wee’s Big Adventure Schwinn DX build!

I’ve had this 1941 Schwinn DX around for about five or six years now and it’s time to do something with it. When I bought this bike it was painted a gross dark gray color, and all the chrome was painted a light gray color. I was going to rat it, then I was going to make it a little shiny and...

    Prewar Schwinn Excelsior

I bought my oldest Schwinn yet. Late 1930s Schwinn Excelsior. I plan on rebuilding it and making it rideable as is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Schwinn?? Year?? Model?? Help

No cable at all, it shifts when you kick the pedals back. There is probably a YouTube video showing how these work, they’re very unique. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Schwinn?? Year?? Model?? Help

You’ve got a bendix 2 speed kickback hub on this bike, that’s a score. This would be a good start for a rat bike. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Trying to ID this roadster

Some of the hardware looks like a newer design, I would venture a guess this is a “flying pigeon” variant or something along those lines and is from China or maybe India and was not intended for export. Cool bike. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    1939 ct1 cycle truck

Cycle trucks have gone crazy these last few years and are worth a multiple more than cruisers of the same era. The CABE is a great source for finding the value of more expensive prewar stuff.

    Zenith Bike. ID help

I could probably get $180 or so in southern AZ, but it would take a while to sell. None of the parts are particularly valuable so I’d keep it together and ride it, especially because that tall frame is pretty rare. I think linseed oil could work magic on that paint.

    Show off your baskets!

Here’s another bike I sold about 6 months ago that had a ratty basket. I was told this is now hanging in a casino in Tucson but I haven’t been and I’m not sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Show off your baskets!

Show off that shamelessly utilitarian addition to your bike. Steel, wicker, wood, plastic, all are welcome. Here’s my ugly basket: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Free Elgin

Ten or eleven years old in 1934 would make him 18 in 1941 or 42 just in time for WW2. I bet he lived a very eventful life and still never forgot about the day he won a new Elgin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Galaxy Flyer. Is it anything?

Looks good, I love these old AMFs they are cheap and approachable and they have great frame geometry that can be traced back to the late 40s Roadmaster Luxury Liner. I do think you need some tassels though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    WANTED ELGIN TANK

I’m looking for a tank for my March build off bike. Rusty and ratty preferred, dents are fine, missing brackets are fine. The bike I have in need of a tank is a 1939 Elgin long tank, there are a couple differences in these frames for different years so we would need to converse about...

    Any ideas??

Unfortunately it looks like your hubs have too few holes to work with 26 inch wheels and your cranks and forks are too short, so there aren’t many parts to take from this bike. I’d swap the stem for a wald one, put some air in the tires and sell the bike as a complete project or yard art. This...

    Corona Rat

From the last photo your frame looks bent. Try measuring from the dropout to the head tube on one side, then compare that to the same measurement on the other side. if that is the problem once it's corrected you should have a lot more tire clearance.
