Used a nicely weathered oak slat from an old pallet to make a top for the rear rack on my Electra. Yeah I know, not exactly innovative but it suits it well and gives me a chance to post a couple of pics.

Just picked this little beauty from CL for $25. Preliminary research makes it an '84 Taiwan bike in "Dusty Rose". 3 Speed Shimano hub. Great shape and seems stock except for the Bell seat. If anyone has any additional info on this particular model I'd appreciate it. Not really up on my Schwinns...

For surface rust on chrome I use chrome polish and 0000 steel wool (extra fine). Cleans it right up.

It does have a nice, clean look to it. Not too much unneeded flash.
