I have a couple of rolls of the pin striping tape for a project I am working on:

They also sell paint:

It's really useful if you are doing long, fine lines along the length of the frame...
'Bicycle: The History' by David V. Herlihy is a great resource book that goes through the complete history of how bicycles were invented, from the Velocipede right up until the modern day. This is more geared towards the turn of the century but is a great read anyway...
I don't think you can get the Brooklyn Speedways after market. I have a set on my Gaspipe bike but I got them from a Hampton Cruiser I built for my father-in-law. I used to work for the Hampton distributer in Canada and I can check with them to see if there is an outlet for the Brooklyn's in...
I'm using an old Shimano 333 3-speed twist grip as a 'hidden' emergency brake on a fixie that I am working on.
The shifter on the right is original and the one on the left has been converted into a brake. I'm probably going to change the grip to match the leather wrap I am doing on the...
I have two completely unrelated friends, one in the UK and the other in Canada, who both thought it would be a good idea to put a .22 round in a bench vise and hit the back with a hammer. Apparently in both cases, it was the shell casing flying backwards that did the eye-damage. Both guys have...
Woohoo! Finished the build this morning and took it for a spin. I planned to ride over to the old brick works in Toronto to take some cool photos but its -4C with the wind-chill and 50+ km/h wind gusts so the back yard will have to do.
My build: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=10850&p=117714#p117714...
OK, It's been really crazy at home and work so I haven't really had time to work on the Green Monster for a while. I really wanted to paint the forks at least to match the frame but the weather has either been too cold or too wet (when it's not snowing that is) and I don't have anywhere inside...
There is also Spot Brand bikes that make 2 single speeds and a 3 speed internal with belt drives:

The rear drop-out unbolts and pulls apart to replace the belt. I believe that...
Ok, so I got the camera going now :)
Here are the parts I have to work with so far.
60's Huffy frame
90's Panaracer Smoke tires (they used to be white about 10+ years ago - dirty cream now)
WTB Dual Duty front wheel
Shimano Nexus 8 w/ roller brake rear laced into a Mavic 325 rim...
Re: Red Rocket Bomber(new photos and a video 10*15*08)
Man, that freewheel up front is pretty cool looking, kinda like a set of spinners... I can see more than a few people getting stitches from the spinning bashguard tho :)
Ok, camera's acting up.
This is a picture of the Huffy in happier times, before I got a certain Spacerliner for my wife. Used the wheels, fenders, seat and cranks to build a bike for my father-in-law, only the frame and original forks survived...
MMmmmm, got a 60's huffy frame and a bunch of mountain parts hanging around just dying to meet each other.
I like the idea of a front disk brake on a canti-frame, gonna use this as my inspiration:

Photos to follow once I charge up the camera :)
