Re: the Baby Deluxe the bike was called a convertible i think it let a family buy the bike and use it through several kids both boys and girls they were built to last more than a year unlike the current mass market bikes the tires are too dry roted to ride on but will make good wall decoration...

i can't say i have a "Signature" build style as such but i will say "Gotta Love The Three Speed" i tend to find some just plain KOOL parts from a thrift store donar and just see where the parts will take me the odder the parts the better(limited runs,kool idea that never caught on,etc) too many...

rick as long as it's a one piece crank it should just swap nothing special with the front as far as the back the rear freewheel would be standard thread it will take an old shimano freewheel remover most older lbs should have one around (different splines than the newer ones) just as a thought...
