Really coming together! Good job on the plates to reattach the sheet metal! I was wondering how you might approach that.

If I can make a suggestion, I'd like to see all of the phillips head machine screws replaced with carriage bolts to give the appearance of rivets. Might take a little work to get them to pull down correctly but it sure would look cool.

Proportions look good. Anxious to see it with the loaf pans and pipes affixed. The exposed part of the headtube reminds one of a Vertex magneto.

Yeah, I am very pleased with the proportions as well. The loaf pans and pipes will lend a little exaggerated "Odd Rods" vibe, but not overkill.

ya got the angles just right I rekon! looks great! and I dont mind that car looking cover/body, youve inspired me in my search for stealth!

You never know what might become a bike part. I know bought this kiddie car as a bike part years ago, and it finally found it's place.

Looking good, the speed rail really ties it all together!

It is giving everything a common base to build from. Thanks.

Thanks, It's held together solidly too. I agree the carriage style bolt heads would look cool. Before settling on the phillips, I looked all over Home Depot, ACE, and even an industrial bolt shop called the Nuthouse, but I couldn't find any. I really don't trust getting what I want without seeing it in my actual hand first. I might continue to look around, but the phillips heads don't bug me. They will be painted anyway.

If you want them, McMaster-Carr can have them at your house before the weekend! Just say'n.

I'm always blown away by how fast they process orders. They ship out of Atlanta so we are about the same distance from them.

Saw the #8-32 ones on there, but I'm not confident that the square head will "lock" into my already drilled holes. Some of the holes I even had to "massage" with a file to give more leeway for speedrail allignment. I'll keep them in mind for future hardware needs.
