Nice! I hope it wasn't you talking to yourself...:21:

JK ! The bike does look sick. And I actually kind of like those bars on there for some reason? Might they be 'Chad-bars'?

Beautiful day here too. RaT oN bRoTheR!

LOL, nah, just as I rolled out of the lane, another biker said that too me as he rode by. I ended up riding around for a couple of hours.

The bars are RUFF Ron Bars that I got in a trade with @eparsons a few years back. I also have used the Rocket L grips for fun, but I kinda like them.

I liked how the RUFF Ron bars fit, but I changed out to a shorter stem to let me line the bars up with the line of the springer fork legs. I used some Rocket L grips I recently got too.

Slapped on the iron cross pedals that came with the bike and took it out for a ride.

Spent some time cruising on River Street
The bike took the cobblestones very well.

Then got some Savannah Slow Ride gals to pose for a Cinco de Mayo pic

The bike REALLY rode well!!
There is some slight squirreliness to the steering, but after about 30 minutes, I had automatically adjusted to the quirks.
I really like the ride geometry and the stance is killer.
Very little fork flop when I staged the bike for pics either. That was a shocker.

One week in and your already on the photo shoot ...lol .
Some cool picks . I like the bars how tall are they . I’ve been thinking of trying some taller ones on my Fink . Just can’t make my mind up on the stile I want .

I like it, cept' them grips. Don't get me wrong, I love them grips just not on there. Maybe it's the red. I've got some silver glitter grips from Electra that would look killer on there. Soft jelly, easy to find and comfy. Of course if ya pull in some more red then I'm just talkin' out my patooty... Cool frame to start with.

Carl.

Anytime I roll around town, I have to search for photo ops. :D Lets me review the bike in different light and settings afterwards and see what photo ideas work or don't work.

I am guessing the bars are about 8" tall or so. I think @slowriderz may have some that are along these lines.

I love the feel of these grips alot. I really haven't decided on any secondary colors for this build yet. But honestly, the only reason why these grips are here is because I tested them on the bars in my office when they came in. We'll see what grips I end up with.

Good to see you out on the cruise with this new toy. Stance looks perfecto when you have the back tire up on something. Would be nice to see if there's a way to drop the front a tad. Maybe attach the front axle to a different spot on those rockers?

Thought of an idea to drop it a lot but not sure if it's possible. If you moved the bottom plate to the top position you could lower the front the length of the head tube. That's assuming the steerer isn't permanently fixed to the bottom plate. Would put the springs up kind of high to but might be something to fiddle with.

Looking cool! The red grips tie in with the red spokes but seems like the rocket shape should be pointing straight ahead to get the rocket effect.

That seat looks great on there...dig that seat.

Great pictures!
Looks good. Have you considered trying a 20 inch front wheel? That would lower it a bit and also perhap add to old chopper look....
Just a thought for mock up maybe...

Always some of the best pics from you. Makes me want to spend time in Savannah. I fly in once in awhile, but usually only have 16 hrs before heading back out... I need a vacation!

So are you finished already or are you just teasing? Just waiting on the doodads to come into the picture. This build has gone too fast. But killer bike.

Not finished at all. Still brainstorming. It's a sweet bike as is, but I still have a lot of fun left on this I think.

I think I have a cool radial laced 24 or 20 wheel I'll have to try up front.
