Tried to track down a 1" threadless headset today, but none of the LBSs had one.
I did play around with the headtube shroud. It fit pretty well, so I cut some of the old tank shroud and strung it up with wire. I am pretty pleased with how well it marries to the shroud.

Temporarily used some roof flashing to fill the missing front section. This should be easy to fab.

Then I tested to see if there is room for my #010 RRB Built Not Bought headbadge

And slid the bottom bearing cup on to gauge what kinda clearance I'll have for the Evanaction fork shroud. No worries there.

I don't have the bearing cup in place, but the top of the shroud is 3mm above the top of the bearing cup.

Time to roll it out so that I can step back and see how the scoop/shroud work with the overall bike.

One last mockup for the weekend. I don't think this idea will make the final cut though. I have had this cool chrome seltzer bottle for quite sometime. I think I will make a cool tank out of it one day, but I am just not feeling it for this build.
