The next time I messed with the guard was about ten or so days ago when I got the crankset installed. But the chrome definitely needed cleaning. You can see where I did a little test clean on the nose.

Here are the before pics

And how it looked after a little 0000 Steel Wool and wd40.

Then a little polishing up

You can see from this view that the Lawless sprocket is a very 3-D object and not skinny like most.

I realize that I will probably have to make the guard ride a little higher than normal, but first I wanted to gain as much clearance as I could. There is a lip on the area that cover the sprocket.

So, I ground it off to save some fitment headaches.

I would cut that whole section that was Green out and drop the front down a little more .
Bike is looking awesome another win coming up .

That checkered saddle is SICK!

Better not be any Pleather this year :shake::)

I made the checkered saddle back in BO13 for my Holeshot build.
Don't be hatin' on my JC Penney jacket sleeve nanner :D :D :D
I love how it turned out on SteamRoller and ride it proudly!!! I still have another sleeve leftover :D

I like the Mark 3 guard shape and bevel but it's too short and hides all the goodness around the BB from the non-drive side. I see what OJ is saying about the Spaceliner guard matching the crank.

This is going to be a good rider as well.

The shape of the chain guard really ties in with the rounded crank arms. Most of the time, our crank arms themselves don't really set themselves apart. Yours do. The ashtabula style cranks (one piece) kind of all have the same look.

There shapes do compliment each other well.

Hmmmm,, not sure if I'm ready to slice that section out. I'll have to think on that.
The positioning of this right now is just propped into place. I haven't worked on the brace and such, so it is all rough mockups so far.

The Mark 3 is a little short, but that could be extended pretty easily. I didn't hate it, but it just wasn't as cool as the liner guard.
I'm expecting it to be a good rider too. I don't envision any wacky riding geometry in my ideas around this build.

Ahh, those bars are like a good version of what I was thinking when I was pondering a pirate ship bike! The idea was to look like the prow, but I thought it just didn't work. This bar being separated, matches the effect I had wanted, but without being too much and too obvious. Here, it's aggressive and interesting, but should be a pretty comfortable angle to ride. No surprise this is looking awesome.
