Had to use a piece of wood as the polishing buck for the chainstay dart. This one was tricky but turned out beautiful!

Also moved the front guide down more even with the chainguard nose.

I attached the rear tank clip and did some simple mockups before I had to get a fridge delivered to a rental property ( Long smelly story behind that).

Next step is attaching the honeycomb side panels to the tank.

I decided on the Gorilla clear mounting tape for the honeycomb. But I didn't feel that I needed full inch wide strips. Cutting this stuff in half seemed easy enough. Wrong. Pulling the cut sides apart is like pulling sticky boogers. Got one side done though. If you look close up you can see the edges of the tape, but not if you are further than 1 foot away. End result is very good I think. On to the next side.

Cutting strips from this stuff was insane on the first half, so after seeing how well it looked under the honeycomb, I went with full width gorilla booger on the other side. After many hours of work, I now have a complete honeycomb sammich!

Used the Tortuga fork as a tool caddy today. :D

Made the bolts for the tank so that I could have acorn nuts on both sides.

Then I shaped the dart brackets so that they would lay tight to the frame. And for good measure used the glue booger dots on the darts.

Cleaned the tubes and frame in the tank area with another pass of fine steel wool and acetone.

Then I mounted the tank and bracket darts.

I finished the downtube polished frame dart with the same treatment of glue booger dots but forgot to take a photo. It was 730pm and I wanted to jump on HEXy and catch some daylight while there was some left. Even took one in the lane, just in case the sun went down. :D

Right down the block from my Noble Hardee Mansion photo wall. I found this. Like I've said many times, you never know what you are gonna see on a bike ride in Savannah.

This Citroen 2CV "Duck" was super nice!!! No way could I just ride on by, especially when I saw the sexy HEXy reflection. This guy dows tours around Savannah in this. It's a 602cc 29HP engine, but he says it's enough for the car because they are so light.

The light came in handy once it started getting darker. I mostly road it with the red center because the white center must be like a high beam. All of the reflective signs were lighting up as I went around the squares with it in flashing mode. :D

Here are a couple in front of Six Pence Pub. Good crowd out tonight.
