Slipped the front wheel and handlebars on and got some pics of it all with the red forks
I withdraw my white paint on the cover suggestion. That looks great all red!
That is what I envisioned

Head badgeBriefly played with the Rat Fink idea again to see it with the red forks

Would you mind humoring me, and trying the butterscotch gribs with the gold cone/wing tips?
I understand completelyGrips are a big pain to remove and put on for these bars, otherwise I would test it. But I know I don't want gold wing cones and gold wing tips though. I understand that looking down from the cockpit it would appear to match up with the sweep of the handlebars. But from every other vantage, it doesn't do anything for me.
I really appreciate the idea, but sorry brother.
I think the pairing was obvious to most of us, I just had to see it in white after the red fork was in place!
Looking good Brian and I love the polished wing!
Dig the headbadge. Here is another option I tested late today. These Indian skull warbonnet stickers arrived this afternoon, so I tried them along with the Indian headbadge. Another experiment.

Dig the headbadge.
Custom made? Or rare find?
I really like the Rat Fink head badge. Now with your ratina on the fork, I'm not as excited about the Rat Fink topper, I'd say let the fork stand out on its own. When I look at this photo, everything works together well, but the shifter handle and stem have too 'modern' of a shine in my eyes. Maybe a rub down with the vinegar / water mix on a #0000 steel wool to just tone it down and bring it closer to the natural old chrome of the fork braces?

If you could get it to look similar to the chain guard, that would be ultimate! @The Renaissance Man ? Thoughts?
This is hot! The patina work on the fork came out great. I like the vintage crust with the shiny bits too. The white accents on the fork are the bomb! Great work, it's looking really good.
