Great looking cycletruck. Taking a bit out of the Radio Flyer tub before installation will make your cycling life easier. I own a cycletruck and had a narrow sidewalk on a local bridge that tested my cycling skills every time I crossed that bridge. If you plan to ride this in the rain some thought might be given to water drainage in you wagon tub. I really like the wagon's use as the carrier. It will be durable for all the loads that end up in a cycletrucks basket.

This afternoon, I started on the carrier support and finished welding the gussets. I changed the stem over to a free style tuffneck so I wouldn't have any issues with interference from the brakes. So now the cable runs down through the steerer and out bottom of fork. No issues now. Next was to form the braces for the rack. Pretty straight forward. Tomorrow I will fab the forward mounting support and establish angle of the cargo. I tore down one of my kids radio flyer. Now that they are 21 and 22, I don’t think they will miss it. I’m going to section and reweld the tub to a more practical dimension. I’m also considering taking the left overs from the wagon and turn it into a tow along keg carrier. 😀

Very nice 👍

That back protector/body armor tells me you must be into some other good stuff too
Yes. I loved down hilling before I got seriously messsed up going over a 12 ft granite drop. Thankfully, I was wearing this under my jersey. I still get out from time to time, wifey makes me wear it to keep hospital expenses down. I have broken ribs over a dozen times.

I have broken ribs over a dozen times.
I had cracked a few over the years and finally broke four at once two years ago. A sucky ordeal at best that I can do without the rest of my life.

The doc at the VA ER in Denver was a former 5th SFG Medic, confirmed when asked about his tattoo. Small World

Took a few hours this afternoon and finalized mounting brackets. Now to shape them and add some holes for weight reduction. Then on to mounting box. I pulled my daughters wagon tub into shop and sectioned it 8 inches. Fits a case of beer and tackle box nicely.
Sprayed the Kookas with heavy duty oven cleaner to strip the purple. Now for some polishing and detailing. Next step will the real test to see if it will handle the case of beer properly. Wheel decisions to make this week.
