Anyone still have a card in the spokes still?

Any one have any idea on how to make a bike sound like a volkswagen?

We always used two cards & one clothespin. Just makes the sound louder because the two cards are thicker than one. Used to drive my dad crazy!! He always said it would ruin the spokes. Never did though. 8)

I've been following this thread and waiting for someone else to chime in with this one. When I was a kid we attached ballons to our forks. Not the pear shaped ones but the long slender ones. They made a very deep BLUBBA-BLUBBA-BLUBBA noise against the spokes.....................until they popped.

you should go on ebay they have this plastic pipe that looks like a kirker header that bolts on your bike and it has a plastic strip that touches your spokes and the sound resonates through the pipe !

Back in the 80's or was early 90's I saw some neon plastic thing to put in the spokes to make noise from some store and I think ther was some speaker something for bikes that made some noise too.
