I tried to purchase a pair of rims on the 28th, they took the money immediately, and it has now been nearly two weeks with nothing shipped despite messaging them twice, after messaging them on March 6th I received "the order is active and currently in progress under standard shipping and is within the shipping timeframe", and after messaging them today (March 13th) I received "there's no need to ask for updates all the time, it will automatically be sent to you". Now I have to figure out how to get my money back.

Having a glance at their site, it's highly likely they don't actually stock a majority of the inventory. They just 'drop ship'. Meaning, you place the order at $xx, and their site auto orders said item from AliExpress or similar at a much lower price, and dispatches to you, directly from China.

More and more sites are doing this as it cuts the cost of physically stocking items. It's really annoying. Happens on eBay too. Will say it's a US seller, but then drop ships from overseas.

I ordered an engine kit from them recently. It took a couple weeks to arrive. Definitely no sense of urgency. I have since heard a lot of negative reviews.

While I haven’t used the engine yet, I think you just have to accept these are very cheaply made and low quality control. Have to embrace that as part of the fun!

I will say they kept tacking things onto my order that I didn’t want. It was tricky getting them removed from my cart. Post order they spam me non stop with things that are on sale. A little annoying.

But it the end I did get what I ordered.

I did order a second kit from another site. It was about half the price. Shipped really fast and appears to be almost the exact same thing.
