Not to complain, but entry #016 should be "Black Tie-phoon Roadster" (only one hyphen), and my username (omitted) is "Hammond Eggz". 8)

It is cool how RRBBO#6 makes total strangers "build brothers". I have a biz trip to Philly so Jake Sensei and I decided to meet up for drinks tonight.
We sat in Monk's Cafe Beer Emporium for 5 hours until after midnight talking almost entirely about the bikes in the build off and our experiences with bikes. I had a blast!!! I thanked Jake for being the Build Off Cheerleader/Sensei. The comraderie that Jake showed on the forum was genuine. What an awesome dude!

Cheers to all of my other "build brothers (and sisters)" out there. Raise your glasses high to toast the hard work and hard fun you experienced during this build!!!

As we all sift through the wicked monsters that were built this year and get ready to vote, cue up Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein" and Get To Chillin' - PEACE!

SOoo....looking back, I was so caught up in looking at all the other bikes, I kinda lost track of what I wanted and got all stupid and shiny... don't get me wrong, I set out to build harley theme, but not all pimped up.... I'm just gonna have to kick its arse with an old chain and leave it outside for the winter before I can ride it and not feel silly... :p

I guess I'm just feeling like I overdid it and it was my undoing... I realized this when I was voting for what I wanted, not what I built...

Just think, if you get 0 votes, you could be everyone's 4th choice.

OH I'm thrilled to have 5 votes or whatever it is, I am just wishing I hada stuck to my plan and built it like I wanted it and not got all starry eyed

You guys, and in fact no one on the site let alone the build-off, should feel bad about whether your bike has less than a few comments or votes.

Two things strike me right away,.....

One, picking only three favorites out of so many entrants is a difficult task to begin with.

Two, and more importantly I think, even if you have no comments or votes for your bike, hundreds of people had to take the time appreciate the work you guys have done, and whether or not that appreciation was favorable to you or not, it was still entered into memory. So whether or not you got any immediate credit for your work, there is still a chance that it can inspire and influence others for literally years to come.

Bighit, we've met before albeit briefly, but regardless of that fact, you're bike particularly inspired me for a direction change of a new build I have in the planning phases. The worn industrial look of those welded pipe fittings is brilliant IMO, and I hope to use something similar in my future build. I really liked the style of your bike on a personal level.
However, that said, I voted for the bikes of the build-off based more on a classic looking rat/hotrod style, and even though your bike still made my top-5 list, it didn't make my top-3 limited vote.

Please don't take those vote counts personally guys. ALL of those bikes, votes or not, have influenced everyone in one way or another, and will continue to do so for quite awhile.

HEY FEUERDOG! DO YOU KNOW WHAT SARCASIM IS?!? I FOR ONE DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT HOW MANY VOTES I RECIEVED(EVEN THOUGH IT COULD'VE BEEN MORE) :? THIS WAS MY FIRST BUILD AND I HAD A BLAST. I'VE MET NEW FRIENDS AND I CHEERED ON MANY FINISHERS AND SLACKERS. I FOR ONE MADE WHAT I SAID I WAS MAKING. A KICK BUTT BIKE THAT WHEN YOU HIT THE SWITCH THE LED EXHAUST LIT UP. IT'S GONNA HAVE A COLOR TO MAKE YA SAY WHOOA AND FAT A## TIRES WITH A BIG HEADLIGHT AND TANK WITH MY COMPANY NAME!! I THINK I ACHIEVED THAT
GEDC0203.jpg
CWAZY WRATTER !! PEACE

I have about as much understanding of sarcasm as you do about the use of CAPS LOCK.

But seriously,....i'm just jealous I can't make bikes as cool as the ones i've seen in this build-off. :D
