I've been wondering how you do that. Do you just use the image links from photobucket like you would to post pics on this forum and instead paste them into the description text on CL?

BTW, on the long drive home from yesterday's strike-out I got a CL post on my smartphone about a 1940's English made Hercules for $40.... So I stopped the Jeep right there on the interstate shoulder and tried like heck to get dibs on the thing. I made it all the way into my driveway before the kid called, I was happy though. Drove all the way back to St. Louis to pick it up (2 round trips to Stl back-to-back), but I was satisfied to not come home empty handed.

Once you have finished the description ,you use the HTML code ,Instead of the IMG code you use for here. Its done the same way though just the different code. Makes the ads look good.

I use Imageshack because they never take down the pictures

and this is how I post to craigslist

<br>
<a href="http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/3951/img0026tr.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/3951/img0026tr.th.jpg" border="0"></a>
<br>

This will post a thumbnail size in the ad and when they click it it links to the large size (notice the .th.jpg for thumbnail)

Description: "Like new and just needs a normal cleaning"

Definition: "Bought it 5 years ago, but never rode it. It's been parked in my backyard under a maple tree, and it will take you at least 24 grueling, non stop hours to completely dismantle, painstakingly remove all rust, oxidation, and sap, then reassemble"

Oh......and what the heck is a "SERIOUS OFFER"?

Yeah only don't use the IMG code, use the HTML code it looks like "<a href....."

<a href="http://s1176.photobucket.com/albums/x328/rozumalski21153/?action=view&current=P9020035.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x328/rozumalski21153/P9020035.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

The Img code is for forums
