I agree! TV has made it easy for people to think everything is worth a lot of money. They forget you need a tv show to have the buyers!

Here is a gem, he wants almost retail price for his bike in pieces. But he will assembly. Lol.
I bought one of these Sparker SPL's a few seasons ago brand new for $300 at a local bike shop on mark down, btw.

Ya, and Evilbay plays a part too. A seller starts an auction at a crazy price or a crazy high buy it now. People see it and think "that is what my item is worth" only problem is the seller does not get any bids and just keeps relisting at the same inflated price. Again without a buyer.
