Lowered the ration again ,28t/ 44t
i made a 44t with a old chainring welded to part of the 32t sprocket i tried first

now it goes ! , i felt like i was flying way to fast for the cycle paths around town and felt it was missing some power when pulling and starting up hills

heres few pics and videos with the previous 40t and finished tank i forgot to post

Very cool! Great idea on the badge! The logo looks very period correct also! :cool2:

My 2 cents: I don't think the dark blue from the badge would work very good for the shadow. Of course it would depend on the color of the bike. If the bike is painted a light color like yellow, the tonal value of the dark blue and red are too close and would make the letters hard to read. I would suggest changing the color on the badge to the turquoise instead. Just my opinion, you obviously know what you're doing.:)

the turn knob ajuster, only the handlebar mount was in stock , and happened to be cheaper as well , so i just hack it up and fiberbondoed it in there, works like a charm

collor of the cylinder dosent quite match the aluminum , but ill see when aluminum is brushed or polished , i might just spray a shade of candy smoke paint on cylinders to match it

Nice ride 1HP! Electric powered bikes are really pretty functional machines, and these converted oldies are one-of-a-kind platforms for them. Good lookin bike. Getting there..

My bad here. Most of your fab. pics were missing when I caught up with this electrified build. Your most recent frame/fork pics fooled me, even better. Yes, electric is here to stay. Lots of tanked bicycles could be converted. Interested in range as you get it together..

its already rolling since 1400+km , how its geared now (36kmh max) it has awesome torque and
i can do 25-30km on motor alone , or 40/45km with some pedaling . really depends on how i ride it..
btw iam still with the same chains , it still holding up to power and braking but i feel it starting to loosen up ,so 1 chain a year ,and oil every week is pretty much the only maintenance:113: its kmc z410 gold 1/2''- 1/8'' ,prooven good stuff

Sorry i forgot to post the latest progress pics , but the good news is

IT FINISHED !!! :D

paint took 2-3 weeks, i used rostolium just cause it was the right yellow , but it took a week to cure before i could sand and do a second coat , the result should be more scratch proof than the usual thin layer of paint with 2-3 coat of clear .. 2 thick layers of paint

bare frame cleaned
