It's time for our yearly get together at the Drags with friends from all across the US. So the cars and pit crawlers are ready!!!

Friday afternoon project, the son and I. "My Pit Crawler"
My son (16 now) and I found this mid 60's Schwinn Heavy Duty. It was just the frame, chain guard, sprocket, pedals and frontend. We decided to have some fun and put a rat together. We love the original worn paint and really had some fun diggin through the parts for this one. All that's left to do is put the chain on her.
Present: Got a seat put together I like, and yes, the chain is on now
Started life as an early 80's Huffy "Good Vibration", "My Son's Pit Crawler"
Eventhough the paint is nice on this one, we tried to pull parts to make this one look like a little brother to mine. The funny part is my son spent an hour trying to sand his rear rack to match mine. He got it pretty darn close.
