Electra Gigi 3i

While searching for a Kos Kruiser for a mate on FBMktpl I came across this barely used but neglected 2012 Electra Gigi at a price I just couldn’t refuse. The seller bought it 5 years ago and left it outside the entire time she owned it as shown in the last photo. As you can see all the chrome parts suffered. I replaced the handlebars (same as the originals) and pedals with spares i had from other parts bikes. The cranks, seat post and stand polished up nicely.

It has a shimano roller brake up front and nexus 3 coaster. It will need a chain and tyres to make it safe. Unfortunately the cool electra retrorunner tires both have splits and flat spots from sitting. The bell is a killer. Weighs 250 grams and sounds like a chime. My youngest daughter will love it.

That's a great looking Electra and I love those "bing bong" bells, so much so I bought a box of them years ago. big bong.. bing bong.. bing bong.
They sound wicked when riding through tunnels too.

The gigi seat is pretty decent too. Electra has lost of the design flair they had before Trek tookover.
